Appeals
Year 7 appeals
If you wish to appeal for a place in year 7, the local authority process the appeals for this academy. Further details and the appeal forms can be found here.
The deadline for making an appeal is 28 March 2025. Appeals will be heard within 40 school days of the deadline. If you submit an appeal after the deadline, it will be heard as soon as possible.

In-Year appeals
These appeals are for children transferring between schools mid-year.
Before you can make an appeal you must first have applied to the academy for a place. Details of how to apply can be found on our Admissions page under the heading In-year admissions. Once you have received a letter advising you that a place cannot be offered, you can then proceed to make an appeal for the academy if you wish to.
You can make a formal appeal to an independent appeal panel, for any school that you have applied for where admission has been refused. This is a legal process and places are not ‘reserved’ for appeal panels to offer.
In-year appeals will be heard by the local authority within 30 schools days wherever possible.
